Seed and Sprout is
a formal inversion of the traditional mother and child motif, and a metaphor for each of us. We are all Sprouts, children
emerging from Seeds. While the Seed is ever diminishing proportionally in scale, on sustained contemplation, the Seed's central
Transcending ever diminishing physical size, the Seed maintains the central mark of each
founding core, providing memory to each of our essential beginnings. On further contemplation, the seed transcends the past
and emerges as the future child we now hold.
