Craig Copeland is a Partner in the NYC studio of Pelli Clarke & Partners and is presently leading the design for 2100 Penn Ave - a 500,000 square foot headquarters and mixed-use commercial building now under construction on the George Washington University campus in Washington DC. Other recently completed projects under Copeland’s design leadership include: The Centrale - an 800-foot-tall residential condo tower in Midtown Manhattan; Cabin|Stack|Prefab prefabricated homes - a kit-of-parts system for high-performance two-story and three-story homes; the New Entry Pavilion and Masterplan Reconfigurations at the World Financial Center - now known as Brookfield Place – a 500,000 square foot mixed-use project which reconnects the Winter Garden to the World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan; and 1214 Fifth - a 240-unit residential tower in New York City's Upper East Side

Craig Copeland was designated as the firm’s Senior Designer in their first years and as Design Team Leader for The Bank of America Technology Center in Charlotte, NC; Cox Enterprises World Headquarters in Atlanta, GA; and, American Campus-a redevelopment Master Plan for American Tobacco - in Durham, NC. In 1999, Copeland helped establish Durham Area Designers - a volunteer group of local design professionals dedicated to facilitating community involvement in Durham’s physical development
